MAYBE
If you come,
Maybe I’ll still be here.
If you stay,
Maybe I’ll want to stay too.
If you tell me the stars,
who knows, I'll shut the winds
and shelter storms within my chest,
so that nothing will disturb your word.
If you smile,
I hope I won’t lose myself
in the dense fog of your sadness.
And if you give me your hand,
I hope that your soul comes in it.
And even if you arrive with empty hands,
because you have nothing inside you
maybe then I believe
that you finally came home.
TELL ME ABOUT YOU IN RUINS
Tell me with your dark wind voice what you hide in the heart?
Tell me with words of dead moon which name have you tattooed in memory,
which song echoes in your curdled sea, who rocks your dreams in the
perverse barren of the loneliness you invented?
Tell me if your happiness has the name of a wrecked ship
or is it just an empty syllable, drawn on the tip of your feet
that never cease to look for in roads of gorse and ruins.
Tell me if what moves you is the hunger for life or the boredom of death,
in the silence of your useless days.
SHE WOLF
Vast is the night.
Black the silence.
The howling red
echoes the rocks
lights up the moon,
with white amazement.
Here i undress myself of who I am,
or intended to become someday,
I loose my words to the wind
like thinner hair,
shake the sands of time,
the dust of the walked,
but not so beloved paths
I wear the night.
Embrace the silence
and loose the white howling
that resonates in me,
with red amazement.
i Follow my black moon
4 SEASONS
Were you a tree
I would be Fall,
To undress you with a blow,
Bathe you in silky rain
And then spin around you
Whispering whatever nonsense words lovers whisper.
Were you earth,
I would be Winter,
To hold you, wet and fiery,
With the fury of all rivers
And then, quietly,
rest in you.
Were you seed
I would be Spring
To see you emerge in bloom,
Grow at the sigh of love birds
And then kiss you, as one mourns,
In the morning dew.
Were you Moon
I would be Summer,
To make you moan in light
In the heat of summer August
And then finally fall asleep on you, as one dies,
Veiled by the pure white linen of your love.
THIS SALTED AIR
I suppose that this smell of salted air
is only a sigh of a mermaid
Made from a promise of absent kisses.
LILITH II
I'm not Eve,
Lamb of Adam,
Second choice of God
To the solitude of man.
I am not Eve,
Mirror of a Man,
Picture of a rib.
I am not bone of a bone
Nor meat of meat,
I am not the scapegoat of the snake
Exorcised by that God
Whose name I keep in my heart.
I choose the path,
I think for myself,
I am Blasphemous and i pray
With the same fervor
As God and Man punished me
For daring to be a woman and be myself.
I tell my rules
I do not know Surrender,
I Bring the moon in the veins
And throw up it’s light.
I am Lilith,
Angel or demon,
You will tell me,
When you drink my darkness
And dance in my limbo.
I have poison on my lips, not submission.
I do not need wings to go further,
I do not follow behind you,
I am not under you,
I am not part of you.
I am Lilith,
Clay of your clay,
Mud from the Mud of God
Who created you.
At you side,
As equal.
Equal!
LILITH
Daughter of the Moon
Why do you sing with grief in your words,
And hide from me your wings of darkness?
Let me hide inside your song,
Among dead stars
And suns asleep.
Daughter of the Moon
And of forgotten gods,
I follow your voice of wind
And i go further.
In the poignant sound
From your grief
I Embrace this requiem
And I sing with you.
CONSOLATRIX AFLICTORUM
And they called me a witch because
I do not fear the darkness,
But follow the light of my inner fire,
In the luminous song that echoes in the shadows.
Follow me;
If you are drived by boldness and desire.
But come with bare feet and naked heart
So that your voice can be heard in the night
And the mortal cocoon can be torn for the flight.
ETERNAL KISS
And with a kiss you make me eternal,
Enslaving time,
Covering the worlds of wonder.
Kiss me again
In the shivering of the stars,
before the indignation of the sterile gods.
Light up my lips with yours.
And in the stifling desire
Breathe with me the whole eternity.
GETTING YOU DRUNK
Intoxicated with the sun,
The sunflowers sing in your yard.
I am enchanted by the Moon
The night and the storm,
But I can not sing.
And in the meantime, your sunflowers
Feast with the sunlight.
Oh I wish I could get you drunk with me
Like the sun gets your sunflowers drunk.
LONGING
I wish again
That field of heather and rosemary
Where I was a shepherd and a wanderer,
Where my father said
that the green was more ingrained in people
And it was!
I wish again
to fill my lungs with the hills
And between sources and herds
Bury my feet in cold and fertile humus,
Stain my white dress with blackberries
And clouding the judgment with arbutus .
I wish again
to bathe me naked and whole
Under unexpected waterfalls
Leaping cliffs with delusional joy
And singing, fresh and clear,
down the rocks.
Crannies guarded only by the nymphs,
Where my father said ,
That at evening, in the crags ,
Water stole the rays of moonlight,
To shine on silver filigree by the morning.
And it shone!
I keep in my eyes the green and silver
That the longing for my father wove .
It was longing!
I wish again
Those dark days of storm
Where eternity fit entire
in the roar of the sky,
And there were promises of life
In the smell of wet earth .
I wish again
The time where my father's voice was heard
And he said things that I never forgot.
I never forgot!
ALL YOU ARE (15 Years)
Telling all you are in one sentence could not unravel your essence.
For you are not only my blood and my pride,
You are a piece of my soul that flew from me in gale
And in the light of your eyes I can see my eternity.
To B.
MERMAID
Are those green shells, what you bring in your hair?
What are you singing, mermaid, with such blue crazed voice
That the tide looks so happy, just to hear you?
The sun flushed, burning far away your far away ocean.
And when you vanish with the waves
Nothing else remains but your scent of seaweed and salt
And the cloak of raw silence that night wears
and dives into me.
THE BEAST
Oh I wish
I could be the hidden beast
in the dark of your eyes!
Oh I wish
the brief dream, the chimera
of me in you, charming you!
YOU INSIDE THE POEM
I wanted a poem with your profile.
I wanted my metaphors to draw the manly contours of your face,
And that on the paper the words could take the solid form of your body.
I wanted the wind to come scribbling you hair in disarray
I wanted the moon to steel the shadow that darkens your eyes
I wanted all of you to be light and color in my poem.
I Do not know where the leaves go, the ones that Autum sends to the ground,
I Do not know if they fly free around
Or if some other hand picks them up to compose a sad poem.
What I know is that you were gone with them.
And so, my sheet remains white.
It's a poem, yes, but for your absence.
A poem that nobody will know how to read.
REDDENED ROSES
Was it my bleeding heart
that reddened these roses,
or they have only blushed
with your goodbye kiss?
LOVE ON THE AUTOPSY TABLE
On the top of this table I exposed the nakedness of my love,
helpless as a corpse awaiting autopsy
No secrets nor hope remain,
but I stood waiting until you came,
you saw me and loved me.
Darkened the life and the wind came,
carrying crumbs from me,
all that was left when night fell on me
RAIN
Fall,
fall,
falls
the
rain.
Drop
by
drop,
falls
the
rain.
Falls the rain on the flower.
Drop
by
drop,
the
flower
bows,
It's crying for love ...
RAIN KISS IN THE RAIN
You asked me for a rain kiss
and I sent you a kiss in the rain
and what the rain whispered in return
I will not reveal to anyone.
You asked me a kiss in the rain
and I gave you a rain kiss,
another with the wind returned,
I'll keep it in the heart.
MY MOTHER'S TULIPS
My mother was fond of tulips.
Yellow.
Or maybe white.
Tulips are sad,
as was my mother.
Corollas bowed
for such short
and heavy life,
Why do tulips weep
as my mother wept?
THEY SAY HE MADE THE SEA
I believed in a dream.
And created a throne
for a king.
But my own throne I usurped.
He arrived
No horses nor knights,
only his pilgrims eyes
in search of love.
Nothing he asked. He dared.
Nothing he asked. He won.
Nothing he asked. He took.
But this was not my king
and my own throne I usurped.
Ephemeral this reign
In which i believed and have created.
For a king.
Nothing i asked. I offered him everything.
As he came, he left.
They say he made the sea ...
He took my heart
on the palm of his hand.
Ahoy, ahoy, my king,
hold your ship,
my poor heart
did not learn to navigate.
As he came, he left.
Leaving nothing behind
but these empty hands,
eternally cold.
And no one ever saw him.
They say he made the sea ...
IN THE EYES OF MY DAUGHTER
In the eyes of my daughter
there are little girls jumping rope
on a field of daisies.
And there is such din,
laughter and euphoria
that even her pupils are astonished,
and the suns that rule the universe
rise up inside them.
CIRCLE OF FIRE
The gods threw me into the circle of fire
invading my mystery of being.
Where the fire is born,
I surrender my life,
and in the wonder of the lesser and humanized gods
my suicide is an orgasm of flames
on a sabbath prayer.
I died yesterday
and today I die,
and in the game of the gods-men
I return eternal, whole and woman
because where life is born
I set the fire.
SOUL MATE
When the sky still had no name
and the earth was only a promise,
I called for you from the dawn of stars.
When gods slept in limbo
and their will did not tear universes
I called for you in the dawn of time.
I lost my voice in the winds of Samsara
and in the eternal soul I tattooed your name,
once, even in the deadly silence I'll call for you.
HELPLESS
Disguised as roses and moonlight,
I left my helpless poems at your windows
where I stood intoxicated by your diamond laughter.
Mesmerized by your naked gestures of lover and witchcraft
I fell asleep at your door curled up in the secret of the stars
that every night come down to lurking you.
God was certainly distracted
and for a second, a single second,
it is you who reigns in the world.
Maybe He also came down with the stars
to rest with them,
rocked by your vagabond singing.
IN YOUR SHADOW
Behold, you come
and the silence drowns the world.
And in your shade
my space shrinks.
You fill up everything,
and you are everything,
suddenly
painting love
in the red heart
BENE HA' ELOHIM
Sons of the rebellion of light,
with eyes hanging in the abyss,
sparks of fire reaching everything
imploding and consuming themselves in a single heart.
The fall of the wings threw you in the cold earth,
in the darkest womb.
From the faces of light remained vigilant shadows
hidden among the work of Elohim.
Ferocious and invasive force,
scattered essence of the divine spark,
creators' warriors or celestial wizards,
a seed spread in secret,
cosmic dust of Nephilim ancestors ,
children of the stars that are we all.
WHEN I WROTE POEMS
While I believed you existed, I wrote poems,
to your predator eyes, to your invader mouth.
You were the poem and I breathed you through the words I wrote.
In the contours of your body I drew metaphors.
The poetry was born in your womb and ran smooth and powerful
from your lips, where I, eagerly, gathered every rhyme.
And finally you do not exist and I do not know how to write.
Loneliness is a blank sheet of paper.
Your non-existence is dyslexia where syllables make fun of us
and words make no sense.
The reality without you is as rough as your face each morning.
And this gap is as sinister, wicked and useless
as the stop at the end of a sentence
where I suspend myself, crazy over the abyss.
And finally you do not exist and never read my poems.
HANDS OPEN
I've learned to keep my hands open,
palms facing the sky,
to release what is not mine
and just rested in me for a moment,
to accept what is coming in my way
because it's mine,
and wants to stay.
MY ANGEL WITH NO WINGS
I was born when God slept
and my fate was sealed by an angel,
lame and without wings,
who could only sing.
I was not assisted by fairies,
nor witches bewitched me.
Not even one of them stopped to look at me.
I fell in life, as feathers from the
wings that my angel has not.
God never saw me,
because he slept,
and what is born in God’s sleep
does not exist..
I follow my way with this angel without wings
singing in my ear,
sometimes out of tune.
I am able to walk
rocked by his notes,
sometimes harmonic and sometimes dissonant.
He always stays at my left,
inclined to me
replacing the void of another hug.
Occasionally he laughs,
the bumbling,
at me and at the world.
Even at God, who is still asleep.
He gathers my feathers (pains),
in secret
one by one,
harvesting them from the ground.
With them, one day he will regain his wings,
but he will always be my lame and clumsy angel.
We keep on going together,
drunk in dizziness,
intoxicated by this life
that happened to us when God slept.
We go like water
among rocks and algae,
running like the wind in the willows wintering,
or like bums on the streets of all doors closed.
Who knows, maybe we are like silent tears
in the eyes of abandoned lovers.
With no wing we walk,
together,
dream of the God who is still sleeping.
FROM LOVE
And from Love
nothing else remains
but a day in January,
cold and surreal,
when i believed
i was living.
THE LIGHT OF MY DAY
Let me see the day with your eyes,
and drink at the fountain of your mouth,
to reap from your body the silent libido.
Leave me your hands, strong and wise,
and the rude silence of your steps.
Leave me your elusive shade
and the miser drunkenness
with which you drink the world.
Let me see with your eyes,
to realize if night has fallen
or if it was you who
stole the light of my day.
CATHEDRALS
Your eyes, the cathedrals
where I was converted.
Your heart, the monastery
where I am retired.
THE POEM THAT CAME THROUGH THE EYES OF THE BELOVED
Let my words hurt your eyes
as brightly as a dagger of light,
let my poem fill you with wonder,
may all of me enter in you
and die slowly
inside your heart.
ABOUT ME, NOTHING...
You have nothing
to know
about me,
but who I am.
Why do you care to
know where
I’m going,
if you are
noxious weeds
stuck in the ground.
My path is loneliness.
Follow me
you can not.
You have lost
your breath to walk.
I have for
company
the nakedness of the moon,
the wonder of the wind
and my empty hands.
Memories are draining on the wall of my room,
where the photos of those already-gone glimmer.
The light in their eyes perished
but the soul was kept on those pictures,
to brighten the perennial nights of longing.
And there is among them an empty frame,
to welcome me when I’m gone
and my soul become another beacon
hanging on the wall of some other room.
GODS DWELL ON EARTH
To you,
who send your prayers to the High
and raise your hands to Heaven,
I say
that the gods dwell on earth
hidden from those who have forgotten them.
No, they are not dead.
gods do not fall in the sky,
nor rot in the ground.
When they die,
they lie inside the heart.
Therefore,
pray to the ground,
for each footprint
you leave
is a prayer.
CRESCENT
I have a crescent in my chest
that comesfrom the heart.
A silver Moon burning stigma
on an initiation night.
The Old Mother dwells in me,
water, light, and emotion.
Open my eyes, Oh Mother,
goddess of freedom,
let me bathe in this river
that mirrors the truth.
Depart from me
the cup of darkness
and the fire of illusion,
give me the strength
of the weeds who insist on
living close to the ground.
WILD RIVER
My life is a wild river
revolted against the banks.
Muddy waters that time infected.
Dug deep into the river bed
lost in the bowels of the world.
Came back to light
pure, with no sorrow nor sin,
poured into foreign beaches.
Searches for a river mouth that welcomes it
and let it flow.
My river has an uncertain life
and insists on the discovery.
Will it end in another river
or in the solitude of the sea?
MY FALLING STAR
And if you are tired of shining
up there in the sky,
satisfy my desire:
Fall in my arms.
MISSING YOU
I miss the time when it was enough to miss you, to see you.
I miss that longing feeling.
What’s the use of missing you now,
if you are not missed,
but I miss the longing that I could feel for you?
No I can’t, I can’t miss you!
This is longing for that longing feeling i felt for you,
and of time when it was enough to miss you, to see you.
I Could miss you then...
THE EYES OF A LOVER
"Oh bien aimé, quels yeux, tes yeux..."
Your eyes trapped mine.
Cruelly.
Inexorably and fatally.
Your eyes took possession of me
And I hold of yours.
I am rebel.
Unsubmissive.
But your gaze is my will!
Your eyes draw me.
It torment me.
In fatal web ensnares me.
Your villain gaze:
Steals my secrets,
Violates my senses ...
Turns me on and puts me on fire.
In a single flash,
Your eyes dissolve,
platting roads of light in my desire.
Erotic,
Sensual,
Your fatal eyes
Remain far from well
And stress beyond evil.
Your eyes know the secret of revealing.
Your gaze is made of sin
But it makes no sense
That your haunted eyes
Trapped mine!
Fascination, love
Is just and all that.
Passion.
Unbearable.
Inexplicable, yes, that too.
But
In your gaze,
Mean,
Mischievous and
Bold,
I feel and see,
Your desire,
My senses,
Rising up in me
Be all of me,
And in that instant, love,
Your gaze is no longer yours.
It's mine!
MY RIVER
Stay!
That when my river
stretches
thrills up
and cries
and thus invades the streets,
is because it does not remember your face
and it’s looking for you at the river banks.
LOST IN THE POEM
I could fall asleep in your smile
as someone who dies of wonder,
and fall in your silence,
populate your dreams,
maybe.
I could follow your steps
In the awakening of the stars
like a predator bird of the night.
I could fall into your body
as a demented lover.
Open you heart and
satisfy my desire for us.
But while I got lost in the poem,
Where have you been lost from me?
WHERE ALL DREAMS ARE BORN
Behold, you arise
and all the air leaks,
fading as a liquid death
in my veins.
At the sound of your voice
my heart stops
and the body splits in two.
In your presence
words die,
flesh and offal petrify
as Carrara marble.
Your life pierces me
beyond the soul,
nesting in a magical place,
there, where all dreams are born.
PART OF ME
If you’re a star,
may your light illuminate the path.
If you're a planet,
may life germinate in you.
If you’re a moon,
may the sun light up your days
and stars shine on the coldest nights.
If you’re a mountain
may flowers and green
pastures grow around you.
If you’re a beach
may the moonlight never
fails to kiss you.
And if you're just
a grain of sand
may the sea never
fails to rock you.
Just as I will never
stop loving and protecting you,
whatever path
you choose to grow.
To whom ripped my womb and made my heart bloom.
SOMEONE
I want someone who is weak.
Weak enough to lay his head on my chest and cry if he must cry,
Or just rest the burden of the day.
I want someone who is light.
Light enough for my womb to create butterflies and tickling my soul.
I want someone who is smart.
Smart enough to see my glow of a woman when I hide myself.
I want someone proud.
It doesn’t matter how high he jumps with joy,
but how proud he can walk after falling to the ground.
I want someone who is literate.
Formed in life, who can read my eyes and decipher my heart.
I want someone who is strong.
Strong enough to lift my soul,
take it to the clouds and never let it fall.
I want someone who is heavy.
Massive enough to withstand the knocks of life,
and still stay by my side.
I want someone with roots.
Strongly rooted in life as an old and lofty oak
whose shade all refreshes.
I want someone monstrous.
Someone who lets out the monster of demented passion
and, overwhelming me, invades me in a torrent of love.
I want a jailer.
Someone who anchors me and ties me to life, inspires me,
motivates me and loves me in a way I never knew before.
I want someone who is a sorcerer.
Someone who sees deep in my eyes and realizes
that he’s all I have been and want to be.
COME IN, THROUGH THE WINDOW
If I do not open the door,
enter through the window.
But come singing, pouring out your voice by the foundations of my house,
that I may hear you in the distance and begin an incantation ritual.
I am not Circe,
deadly hawks do not surround me,
but I am a witch hidden under the spell of life.
Say my name out loud even if you scare the stars,
so that my sleeping heart awakes,
reveals itself and cheers your presence.
Search for me.
I'm hidden there where dreams will die
and the moon has nothing poetic.
It's just a round boulder, hanging in the sky,
having no light of itself and serves only to ignite poets.
I hid myself in the brief laughter of butterflies,
in the flight of the swallow which fell dead into the clouds.
I hid under your wizard eyes so that you may not see me,
forgotten of who I am.
I hid beyond the singing valentine
and the heat of clandestine lovers.
I fell asleep beneath the world itself
where hell is no more than a deserted heart.
If I do not open the door,
enter through the window,
and come into the house, stumbling,
stamping your feet on the ground,
screaming my name of woman.
Once the day will come when
there will be no place to hide myself.
And in your voice I shall live,
I’ll lay down in your light
and wake up curled on the palm of your hand,
on the joyful singing of your days.
AD HOMINEM II - LOVE ME AS I AM
Love me as I am.
Love me for being me.
I refuse perfection!
I am human and imperfect.
But I am proud to be!
Because I do not merely exist.
I am!
Oh, do not ask me difficult questions!
Do not ask me how I am.
Do not ask me who I am.
Do not ask me what I seek.
I'm just me.
Perhaps, who knows, seeking thee.
Ask me what color are the eyes of the wizard.
Ask me where is the secret hiding place of the all rainbows.
Ask me what magic alchemy can turn into reality the dreams of the gods.
And I ‘ll answer thee, or seek an answer
In the old Book of Life.
But do not ask me difficult questions.
Love me for being me.
Love me as I am.
Love me!
Love me,
Tender or warrior
Coward or heroin,
Happy or unhappy,
Rebel or resigned,
Virgin or fatal
Girl or woman.
I'm just me and all of them.
I am who I am.
And I am in your hands.
Love me for being inside you.
Love me for being inside me.
But do not ask me to be other than who I am!
I do not want to rest on an altar
with the soul dressed of stone or porcelain,
garnished with gold and flowers,
at the candlelight of others devotion.
Untouchable.
Infertile.
And lonely.
Love me,
Naked,
Stripped,
Full,
Unruly,
But a woman
At the reach of your pilgrims hands.
Fertilize me with this love
Exiled from you,
Refused by you.
Love me as I am.
I am for you.
I'm yours alone.
And I am who I am!
ETERNAL MOMENT
I dare to want someone who wakes me up,
like the sunlight through the dark forest
where I hide myself.
I dare to want someone who inflames me,
as helium inside of a star.
Someone who walks in my direction,
and stays beside me
as those who march under a hymn of war,
and then holds me and rocks me,
with the sweetness of childhood paths in the village,
at the light of dawn.
I dare to hope for that someone,
a master in the symphony of love,
a conductor who dilutes in us the inspiration and
composes in me his masterpiece.
Someone who will strum
on the eager keys of my body
a stunning prelude and
make the strings of my sensitive soul
vibrate in harmony.
And in gestures of tenderness,
in the most profound silence,
nothing will be left unsaid,
in an eternal moment of love.
COLLISION
In spin
like electronic particles of opposite charge,
in mutual attraction,
and one over the other
are closing the siege.
Inexorable,
inevitable collision.
For millennia the Great Physician opened his hand and
launched us in the quantum universe.
And the Wizard wrote the Book of Shadows,
soothsayers read entrails and silenced,
Sacrilege! Cried the Vestals,
in silence the Augurs smiled.
The laws that rule the world cannot be ignored!
You're my magnet,
my destiny,
in the same magnetic field we vibrate.
The hand of the Creator sealed the prophecy:
I am in you and you are in me.
A fatal collision course.
CLOUD
I'm insecure cloud
seeking refuge
in the brightness of stars.
However, due to the intangibility of such distant suns
I take refuge in the glow of your eyes.
GEOMETRY OF US
As two parallel lines that travel together the same eternal space.
Side by side, companions, sharing path and direction.
Never touching.
Till the infinity.
WAITING
I will wait for you
until infinity is consummated
and the Universe rests,
reduced to its last atom,
on the trembling hand of the Old Creator.
I will wait for you until the death of all the gods.
Who knows,
I’ll still be waiting afterwards.
WHERE THE WINDS HOWL
(Requiem for a drem)
" If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness! "
Mathew 6:23
I have a hole in my chest
Where the winds howl and the dreams fade away.
Why did you stole a piece of my heart and left me so
silent and still,
fragile at the mercy of the winds of the world?
I have a hole in the chest tore by your absence.
Why do you strive to keep the shadow, there, where the darkness hid you?
And while the days have not dawned and the shadow is your master,
set free that piece of me you’ve kept in your hands.
The winds will bring it back to me.
In ashes.
Of what died between us.
Of what never started between us.
I'LL KEEP...
I will keep your pitch eyes
In the darkness of my night.
I will write your secrets in the sand
So that the light wind may take them,
Or hide them in the sea.
And on the brief moon
I will dawn your silence.
Oh, you do not know, but I do,
That your name is made of the
Dust of stars,
And in your voice,
resonate all the songs of
Old Sailors that the sea has swallowed
I have nothing to give you
But the nakedness of my empty hands
To fill out yours.
Do not bring me anything
But your wing
And add it to mine.
Listen!
Witches are singing in
Sabbath of dawn,
The sirens rock their
Lovers in their silvered hair.
Shall we fly?
GODS ARE SADISTS
Close your eyes.
Do not open them.
If only the gods knew the color of your eyes
they would tear them to make the stars.
